Linda Maria Frank joined author Karen E. Osborne on What Are You Reading? What Are You Writing? for a conversation about books, young readers, and the world of the Buccaneers of St. Frederick Island Mysteries.
In the interview, Linda shares how the Buccaneers series grew from memory, imagination, and the fun of creating a fictional island where young characters can solve mysteries without modern shortcuts.
The conversation focuses especially on The Monster Bones of St. Frederick Island, the third Buccaneers book and a collaboration with Joanne Verona Kropf. It is a strong introduction for parents, grandparents, teachers, librarians, and readers looking for mystery and adventure stories for young readers.
