Linda Maria Frank appeared on Briggs on Books for a conversation about her writing life, her background in science education, and the mystery stories that grew out of a love of evidence, history, and classic young detective fiction.
In the interview, Linda discusses how teaching biology, chemistry, and forensic science helped shape the Annie Tillery Mysteries. The series follows Annie into investigations where curiosity, evidence, and courage all matter.
The conversation also highlights The Mystery of the Lost Avenger, an Annie Tillery mystery connected to World War II aviation, coded letters, family history, and the women who helped support the war effort.
